I, on the other hand, find it indespensible due to the simple fact
that many of my clients do not routinely monitor how much disk
space they have left, and this is a terrific non-laborous method
of letting them know.
It's also an excellent opportunity to upsell your clients to a
higher-end hosting plan...
However, I suspect that there is no happy medium here, ie: the
feature is either in or out, in which case I would strongly object
to it being removed.
IMHO, there are more pressing issues, such as re-configuring the
default ftp directories for site admins to /web instead of /user.
