Re: [cobalt-users] Webmin
I use it under FreeBSD and it works fine for me. I especially like the
ability to control any Webmin enabled servers from one interface without
having to buy another package <nudge><nudge>. I also love the way that:
1) It comes with a lifetimes supply of free and fiendishly easy to install
upgrades (on a continual basis)
2) The way you are running modules that you can add and remove at will ....
even make your own
However, I do find it requires more _back_end_ knowledge than the Cobalt gui
as you are basically still hand setting many things and the margin for error
is therefore greater.
If you like the Cobalt 'instant doing' interface there are a few others
about .... <rummages for addresses> ....... but I'd need to remember where I
saw some. Try a search at Altavista or Yahoo
CR
PS - it goes without saying (I hope) you can't use another gui alongside the
cobalt gui ............
