[cobalt-users] SSL Certificates on Raq3i

Hi,
I am trying to setup a signed Certificate on a Cobalt Raq3i, and not
having much luck. The Cobalt generates and works with a self-signed
certificate with no problem, but we would like to run a Thawte
certificate.
Having been burned with certificates before, I used the certificate
request to generate one of Thawte's test certs, which shows up in the
Cobalt GUI as exactly that. When the web server tries to run, however, I
get the error:
[error] OpenSSL: error:14094412:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert
bad certificate [Hint: Subject CN in certificate not server name!?]
in /home/log/httpd/error
The certificate then reverts back to the cobalt self-signed one, which
obviously isn't what we want. I have tried manually creating
keys/requests through telnet to generate certificates with the same
results.
I am reluctant to request a real Thawte certificate without seeing the
test one work first! Has anyone experienced this before, or used a
Thawte test on the Cobalt SSL?
