I had the same problem on a couple new class C IP blocks I got from Bell Atlantic.
They had them set up in their routers as something like
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.customer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx It really messed up the reverse lookup
so they pointed them to my DNS and the problems disappeared. You might check with
your upline to see how they have the addresses set up in their routers
