Just because you are using an IP address to connect to the Raq does not mean
that the Raq itself is not attempting to resolve the IP.  If there is a
problem
resolving the IP address you are connecting FROM, it will hang while it
attempts to the DNS look up.  Make sure teh IP address you are connecting
FROM
is proberly configured via DNS.
