I am having a problems with getting secure certificates to work on my RAQ3.
Problems have grown progressively worse as my hosting provider has tried
various remedies.
The secure server is: <https://secure.nickads.com/>
To ensure that the problems I have encountered were not browser specific, I
have tested the site with current versions of IE, Netscate and AOL on both
Windows and Macintosh.
Initial problem
After installing a certificate from Thawte, no web browsers would recognize
the certificate as being issued from a known certificate authority. Here is
screen a shot from the RaQ3 SSL configuration screen showing how the self
sign certificate and Thawte's certificate were entered:

Here is a screen shot from Netscape reporting about the certificate problems:

I checked Thawte's certificate to make sure that it had been properly
entered and did not include leading or trailing spaces.
Requested Support from my host
Next, I sent a tech support request to my host. They suggested that I
_delete_ the certificate and reenter it. I did this, but found that there
was no way to reenter our self signed cert into the "Certificate Request"
field. When I only entered Thawte's cert, I could not access the secured
pages via a web browser, instead a server timeout error would occur.
Here is a screen shot of the certificates setup:

I tried various ways of reentering both the self-signed and Thawte's
certificate and found nothing.
Where should I go from here?
I am comfortable working in telnet, but I am not familar with secure server
issues.
