I wouldn't say it's fully uptodate. ProFTPd Pre 10 has been out almost 2
months. I'm not sure what the latest Cobalt rpm/pkg of proftpd for the
RaQ2 is, but I successfully installed pre9 on mine a few months back.

Homepage for proftpd is http://www.proftpd.net but you will invalidate
your warranty if u upgrade manually! Is this problem just on one
client? Are you behind a firewall?
