[cobalt-users] How can we stop these emails from being sent and resent? (Majordomo problem; RaQ2)

***I apologize if you receive this message twice as I deleted all outgoing
email on the server and did not see this post, so I am resending it again to
ensure it arrives.

How can we stop a message from being sent on the server? The mail list
problem we are experiencing with Majordomo on the RaQ2 has now hit the
critical point as the recipients on the list have so far received 8 or more
copies of the email sent. It is a fresh email message and it is even
attempting to send more copies even as I write this. I need to know where to
locate these cached??? messages and stop them from being sent or resent.
/home/spool/mqueue is not the answer as I can clear this out and it fills up
again.

It seems that Majordomo configured on the RaQ2 has a breaking point and we
have found it. Nothing has been helpful at the Majordomo site yet, but they
do mention some possible unconfirmed problems when the list is large related
perhaps to sendmail.

Anyone else using a very large (over 7500 people) mail list? If so, what
software are you using to handle your list?
Has anyone successfully installed MailMan?
