I'm guessing on this one, but logically speaking, once you generate a selfsigned certificate for www.beautytech.com, your current certificate is probably going to be toast. I'm assuming here that your server is setup to use both "beautytech.com" and "www.beautytech.com" when called in a browser...meaning the "www" prefix is not needed while calling up the domain name...correct?? With that in mind, I don't think it's even possible to use two different certificates for one domain name. Maybe if you had "secure.beautytech.com" you can probably get away with doing what you want with a Thawte and Verisign since now that subdomain is viewed as a different virtual site on the server, thus having it's own virtual site directory structure. Of course you'll have to give "secure.beautytech.com" it's own IP address so it can use SSL stuff.
But of course I could be all wrong on this note..been out of the loop for a few days. <smile> Am very interested in what some of the cobalt veteran's comments are on this SSL issue.
