Alright I have been reading this thread for a while and I must jump in.

OK so it used to be $500 each year, now it is $1500 one-time. Hmmm...
sounds like a good deal right. But wait if I want upgrades and support it is
$500 per year? OK so now it is really $1500 year one and $500 every other
year. Except for the extra skins, sounds like a $1000 price increase to me.
Not that that is unfair but call it what it is.
Look, what is VERY unfair though is asking existing customers to for over
the $1500 from scratch. I mean these people have already paid good money
and it would be smart to have a cheap upgrade. Heck I would probably credit
them all the fees they have paid to date towards the $1500. That way if
they had used in the Q for 1 year they would have to pay $1000, 2 years only
$500, etc. That way longtime customers would not feel stabbed in the back.
Just my longwinded 2 cents...
