Debbie,

I don't have an answer to your question but you have brought
up a point here about some other things related to the log
files.

The main server access log file, located at
/home/log/httpd/access) have all of the virtual sites jammed
packed into this one file.  That's nice, but!

I sure wish I can figure out a way to create a main 'admin'
stats for all of the sites in one tidy little stats report. 
The stats report that comes with the GUI is rather lame,
IMO, and I have no clue which log file that version of
Analog is reading.  The GUI is using an old version of
Analog too.

Waiting around each day for the nightly cron to kick in is a
major pain my fanny.  I want total stats NOW for all virtual
sites.  Not at 4am when the cron starts seperating the
access log into each virtual site's web.log files.

For example, I want to tell Analog (or whatever stats
program) to give me a total data transfer amount for each
individual virtual site.  Starting on Date A and end on Date
B.  Half the time Date A is old and no longer available.

I also want seperate daily error logs, live, for all virtual
sites, mainly so each site can figure out themselves what
errors their scripts are getting.  A cron would work to wipe
out yesterday's error log for each virtual site as to
conserver hard drive space.

I shouldn't have to re-invent the wheel to get this stuff.
Or do I ??

OK so the cron kicks in at 4 AM I got that :) But can

bit of in-site as to when these logs are rotated?? I think
I'm going to set
the cron for weekly to the web.log at 3 AM, but that may not
