Well at the NOC housing my domain, it takes at *least* 24-36 hours for any
major changes (services) I turn-on -to start showing up in regards to SSL.
I figure this is because of the network (or even the box -I'm not sure) is
using a cached version.. Once I finally got SSL setup on the default
domain/system it took about 24 hours before I was able to make a SSL
connection that was coming from the "external" certificate. One thing that
might be a bit tricky for RaQ3 users since it has this built-in SSL engine
and everything is setup via the GUI (and not really specifically covered
anywhere) - You have to go into the default siteadmin settings (via the GUI)
for the default domain (the one with the same IP assigned to the box -the
one with the grayed out delete button) and make sure the SSL little
check-box is also enabled (under site settings). Check to verify this
little number is checked. Then once it is, and the external certificate is
installed, if you're like me, it took almost another 24-36 hours before I
could make a connection with the external certificate. But eventually it
worked.
