[cobalt-users] Automating New Account Setup

I am wondering if anyone has any input / experience with creating an
automated script to setup new users.  What I am wanting to do is to create a
web page that prompt new users for various information and then checks to
see if that username is taken and then creates the account.  Being new to
Cobalt, I am sure this is what they are doing behind the scenes of their WEB
admin tools.  If anyone has any suggestions on how I can accomplish this I
would greatly appreciate it.
