Thanks for the concern Dan.. I;m not too concerned that this will pose a
security problem.. I had done this on the shared server for 5 yrs with out
a problem.. they did however install a pop before send on the shared about
a year ago.. I'll be installing the same on the box just as soon as I'm
settled in.. asb has maybe 500 clients.. maybe more.. the chances of one of
those people actually realizing I have this box and realizing they can use
it to spam is real slim in my book.. they'd have to be dialed into the
system.. and he keeps good logs and he'd be too traceable..
Other than me.. no one else will have the ability to use the machine for
SMTP today or down the road.. every other users mail is being fwd'd off the
box just as soon as it comes in.. I want no mail on this box except mine..
no user will have telnet.. only me.. and only one user that I can think of
off the top of my head needs FTP access.. no public FTP access anywhere..
