Do you have a url handy for SSH?

Not off the top of my head, so I searched this list's archives:

I found:

I built ssh and uploaded it to cobalt's ftp contrib site. I don't
know if they ever posted it anywhere, if not let me know and I'll
send it to you.

Jeff, Brian,

We can't distribute ssh from our public ftp site because of U.S. export
laws. ssh compiles without modification and telnet access can be disabled
through the web administrative interface.

See http://www.ssh.fi/sshprotocols2/index.html for good documentation and
legal distribution outside the U.S. and Canada.

I think this'll help you find it <smile>.

Will installing it on a Qube2 violate any Cobalt issues with regard to
support and warranty.

Of course <wry grin>.

As I've said before, take your chances. Worst case, a $99 CD and you reinstall. Which is all Cobalt will do for you anyway, they don't guarantee your contents; they'll happily put the machine back into its base configuration if you mess it up <smile>.

It's a pretty straightforward install. Except for the fact that I've already been written to privately once for attempting to solicit business on this list, I'd probably offer you my services <smile>. But at some point you do have to learn how to run Linux, don't you <smile, again>?
