RE: [cobalt-users] RaQ3, installing software problem

fortunately, my problems have mainly been with DNS at my ISP rather than
with cobalt - but I agree with you about their tech support sucking. they
have gotten back to me each time i have emailed, but have never called me
back and their emails are so far delayed after my initial email that i
usually already have an answer..

cobalt - you guys need 24hr PHONE support and need to hire alot more people
if you want your product to work.

Subject: RE: [cobalt-users] RaQ3, installing software problem

I was foolish enough to get and install the 2.2 patch. Basically that was
when we started to notice some problems. So far Cobalt systems has not
impressed me one bit. Last night I was on the phone with one of their techs
for about an hour, then I was hungup on, oddly enough when I tried to call
back, got the message that Cobalt was closed. Since the tech was in my raq3
working on something I have no friggen idea what he did.

I thought that I would never say this, but I am considering using my raq3
for parts, i'd rather deal with a REAL unix operating system, Commercial
BSDI, at least I have technical documentation, and BSDI has always been
there to help, they don't let you hang.

At least I can thank Cobalt for something, hell I have a nice memory
module, good size hard drive, CPU (if they didn't glue it to the board) and
cute blue plastic that I think I will melt down and mail back to Cobalt.

HONEST COBALT, I'm really not F R U S T R A T E D, see, I'm smiling :)
