This list is GREAT when you have problems but keep in mind that is what this
list is for. So of course it seems like all you are reading is about
trouble.
I have had a my Raq3 for 3 weeks and I love it. Much more reliable than any
windows box I have ever used. I am new to Linux but not afraid to learn and
I have had not problems doing anything I need to. I follow 2 simple rules
when making a change via telnet.
1. Research, Research, Research (especially this list and it's archives).
2. when ever I do anything to a file I make a backup before I ever start.
That way if my changes make things go haywire I can always go back to the
way things were before I did anything.
Just my option...

H all,
Just bought a Raq3i. Haven't even plugged it in yet.
Been following this list for a few weeks and am beginning to wonder if
I've made a mistake. Seems the server is very unstable. Like most of
you, I'll be hosting other people's business and can't afford to have
the kind of problems I've been reading about here.
I've admin'd a linux server before and went Raq because I have a
non-techie partner who I would like to be able to add new domains,
users, etc. I also want, though, to be able to modify the system
files manually.
Am I in for big trouble if I actually try to use this thing???
Rick
