I'm confused by your terminology. Are you doing name-based hosting
(sharing one IP#) or ip-based hosting (separate IP# for each site)?
You are aware, I take it that you CANNOT do SSL for multiple sites sharing
one IP.
To do SSL for multiple sites, you MUST do ip-based hosting.
One work around would be to point all your clients websites to ONE site
with a SSL.
For example, you could set up SSL on your one IP#, as for example
<secure.yourdomain.com>, and set up each of your customers to use YOUR
certificate, for example: <secure.yourdomain.com/theirsubdirectory>.
Plenty of disadvantages, not the least of which is the contracts with both
Verisign and Thawte seem to disallow this. Another disadvantage is that
you'd have to update the sites; you don't want to give all your customers
access to each other's secure directories <frown>.
