Actually I probably should not have mentioned the 'resolve to' address.
<grin>
It appears that if the sender of any email is using a 'CNAME' for
www, then my RaQ will not receive the message and it will send it
back with the:
<<< 554 rewrite: excessive recursion (max 50), ruleset 3
I have tested this with two domain names:
401.com: Has the standard, iserver.com DNS setup, and I have not changed
nor updated this DNS from the standard setup.
408.com: I have deleted the 'CNAME' for www and replaced it with an "A"
record.
I then sent one email using, 401.com, and then another using 408.com, the
only
changes I made was to my Eudora settings for the User Name, POP, and SMTP,
both domain names are being hosted by iserver.com and are using the same IP
I am able to send email from 408.com to my RaQ3 at 213.com

Thier must be a lot of ISP's out their that are using a 'CNAME' for "WWW",
just like iserver.com!
