Re: [cobalt-users] Script for pinging multiple sites

And I suppose you didn't find us necessary that:

a) there's only limited functionality for free, and the rest costs money.
b) the amount of money it costs seems to not be available.
c) you just put in "service does not need a cgi script..." to spread FUD through us about other services; in fact there's no reason at all why any such script would be necessary, nor if present, would present any kind of security issue.
d) you own the site.

Please, full disclosure. How much does it cost to go to five minutes? I already have a five-minute warning in place; my home network proxy-server checks my RaQ every five minutes; if it doesn't get a reply, it sends email to my local email client, which plays a warning through my speakers and will page me as soon as I have a pager setup.

I use it... It pings once an hr and sends me an e-mail when a site is down....

Another good thing the service does not need a cgi script....
