Hey guys, how are you backing up all the files on your Raqs?
We all know that this will not work through the control
panel when you try to back up all the files for all the
sites. It always times out and Cobalt has admitted to this
flaw.
We also know that you can't back up to an external tape
drive from a Raq.
Is there a way to tar and simultaneously FTP to another
server? I can't tar all my files first and then download
because the big tar file will exceed the storage capacity
of my hard drive if I'm more than 50% full.
It's hard for me to believe that everyone who owns a Raq
is not backing up their data, so there must be some way
to do it. What's the secret?
