ooh oooh.. Jeff.. would you be so kind as to get me (private) those

Simple enough to do on the list:
Select the IP you're going to use for your for virtual sites, and create a
first site for it.
Hostname should be "clients" (no quotes, of course) instead of "www".
Domain name should be "yourmaindomain.com".
Then, in that site, which gets no users, no email, only minimum space, but
a simple html page which advertises your company, let's people know that if
they've reached this page then they've got an old browser that doesn't
handle name-based hosting, and then includes a clickable list of all the
name-based sites on your system, addressed by directory path. That way if
someone types in "namebasedsite3.com" and reaches this page, they need only
click on "namebasedsite3" and get there <smile>.
And once your dns for "clients.yourmaindomain.com" has propogated, you and
your clients can use it to test their sites, too.
