RE: [cobalt-users] RAQ2 DNS problem - Sendmail?

I just tried it out, Dan.

Alas, it comes with no information on using it behind a firewall.

I've written their support address; let's see what happens.

In the meantime I have to say that although it's possible that TODAY most RaQ users are using dialup connections and no firewall, I'd bet that in the near future that just won't be true, most users will have DSL connections and proxying firewalls.

So any utility set, to be reasonable, has to work from behind a firewall.

Since my firewall does run on an NT box, I COULD put net.demon on that box, and use my kvm switch to look at it, and use it, on my firewall system. But that's NOT smooth integration, and probably won't work for many of us <frown>.

Thought you might. <wry grin>
There are many functions on that utility and as I pointed out, many of the
Cobalt users are mainly on Windows machines.
