with all his changes. ;-)
The only "real" change I've made so far, Dan, is to add a new instance of
Majordomo.
I've also added some "aliases.anything" files, to support majordomo and to
support a few other issues. And of course I've added the proper lines to
/etc/sendmail.cf to support the new aliases files.
BTW, before I make any changes at all to any file maniuplated by the RaQ's
html-based interface I always save a dated copy of the original file, so I
can always backtrack. That's why you've never seen me ask for a restore CD
<smile>.
Also, lest anyone decide to try these changes at home, be aware that I've
been using unix since it ran on an eight-bit TRS-80 Model II, and linux
since kernel version 0.99, that nobaloney.net is my third ISP, that I've
been CTO of several organizations, and Sr. Analyst at a multi-billion
dollar mortgage bank. And in spite of all this I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M
DOING most of the time. That's the key to success in this industry:
admitting what you don't know. And continuing to ask. And continuing to
learn.
I always try to pay back, and to those familiar with the term, to pay forward.
If there's anyone who's helped me to whom I've not said "thank you", I
apologize <smile>.
(For this startup I decided to go the RaQ route to be up and running with
everything my old ISP had, but in a matter of weeks, not months. That's
the value of the RaQ!)
