[cobalt-users] Mailserver does not work

Hi there,

We have a problem with our new Raq2.

I have posted this message some time ago to the Cobalt support, though I
never had an answer to it.  It still doesn't work.

Everything seems to work just fine, even at the control panel the server
seems to run fine.  But we don't get the mailserver to work.  I have little
or less experience with sendmail, so I cannot solve this problem by my own.

I assumed the mailserver should have worked after the first boot, though
reality learns me different.
Can someone give me a checklist of where I can look at, or help otherwise?

At this point I don't know if the problem has to be searched at the
firewall, at the DNS or at the Raq2 itself, I'm getting desperate.
