Well because, that is all it runs, named and that is it.  Cobalts are
running 10 instances of httpd, 5 of ahttpd, 10 of httpsd if you have that
installed, sendmail, then you got 20 other processes that turn off and
on.  

And DNS works fine on a RAQ if you use edit files by hand, but having to
use the GUI slows everthing down and there just is not enough
functionality in their web interface to do what I want to do with the zone
files.  But trying to load just the 170+ domains we have on our RAQ2 in
the server manager screen even on the local net let alone a dialup takes
way too long.

We just got a few RAQ3's in I am very anxious to see the improvements.
