I need to use the Qube2 as a file sharing server
for Win 98 users, but I have come to learn each client can only read files from
another user (which if I remember correctly is derived from a UNIX protocol, but
anyways) I need simple ideas as to how I can create a universal folder that can
be shared by all clients and given full access (i.e. so any Win 98 user can save
or modify a file to one universal folder on the Qube2).
InfoBase is too laborious and is not intuitive
enough, therefore not an option.
FTP is out of the question.
I need to have a simple shared folder just like you would
share any folder across a Win 98 network (TCP/IP)
Please keep the technicalese to a minimum, as I
am a virgin to LINUX.
Thank you in advance,
CAD
