Try a n normal shell and type: telnet <hostname>
For FTP I use WXFTP - available all over the web
Never tried SAMBA remotely but I _guess_ it would work - just a bit slower
:)
And, FreeBSD supports X Windows just fine - you just needed to upgrade it
(version 3.4 is out) ... I know it works 'cos I'm running 3.3 jsut fine :-)
