Yes. I assume you setup both the Cname and the DNS for www.name.org at the same machine, then both domain names would have to point
to the same nameservers to make it work.

Ie www.name.org should point to ns1/2.dns.com and www.name.net should point to ns1/2.dns.com.
(1) Then setup a virtual site www.name.org / IP.
(2) Setup an A record www.name.org to IP.
(3) Setup a Cname record www.name.net to www.name.org.

It works for me.
