Thanks to everyone who replied to my earlier post asking for input about
raqport. The postings at cobalt-users were overwhelmingly negative, but
they identified a specific problem which I think I can resolve in
advance with raqport. The gist of the thread was that raqport routinely
backorders machines and take a month or more to ship, but charge the
customer's credit card at the time of the order. They are also
reportedly evasive about shipping dates. The responses to this list were
positive, so I'm going to proceed to try to make a deal, with
appropriate assurances.
