I have no clue on how to modify osr-cd's this way (btw. never had good luck
building one that has all current patches instantly applied), but I'd suggest
a simply driveimage (or ghost or else) to copy the harddisk you configured
to the next one and so on.
keeping such a master-harddisk could be handy anyway :-)
