Ok I now know what version of OpenSSL is on my XTR. Version 0.9.6d.
Which is good since it is that latest stable release.
Now I need to know if I should just simply compile and install the
version entirely, so I have the missing parts I needed.
Or if that will cause further problems for me.
I am not sure if anyone has attempted this, and if not, could someone
from Sun/Cobalt please comment.
I have an app I really need to compile and get running on my XTR but I
cannot due to missing openssl dependencies.
Thank you.
