We have an option for outsourcing the mailing to a company whos specialities is mailings, and based on the various arguments from the discussion here, my thoughts are very much into that path now.
Now, with the details, I'd recommend something like "Subscribe Me Pro"
running on it's own server (you probably want these to go out fairly
quickly); something you could rent at about us$100/month.
If the outsource company can do the mailing quickly enough, and costs
less than us$100/month, then I'd say that's a good solution; they're
responsible for the administration <smile>.
