David would you please learn how to cut away irrelevant parts of the
post to which you're replying? It's rather disconcerting to read
through 5kb of data (almost three pages) to read your one-line reply:

And depending on circumstances, your reply may not be universally
correct. While it's "right" to have an MX record it's not true that you
won't get "any mail" if you don't; many email servers will default to
sending mail to an A record address if it's all they can find.
