Do you have the domain name as an email server alias in the site setup?

By default, emails are sent (as they should be) to
Someone@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx etc. A quick test is to send the message to
Sales@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (assuming that you setup the hostname as www) and see
if it works.
