Herb,

yes I think this is my problem, I am going to set up a new account using www
as host/mail etc and see if this cures my problem.

I have had a look at the sendmail site , it has an article of virtual hosts,
but it references a file called aliases which on the RAQ4 is not used ( I
checked all the RAQ sendmail config file today).
