Steve,

Is the virtual host setup as www or mail? Whatever the one setup is, must be
used.

Lets say www is the real hostname. Then mail would be an alias and would have a
single
entry in virtusertable like this:

mail.testdom.com     %1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
