When you get into this arena you are relying on compatibility, drivers,
etc. Go the EASY route, add the box (an access point). Just plug it into
the ethernet port and forget about it. I can't see the need for adding
un-reliability, possible incompatibility, and a host of other issues to
solve something so simple as wireless LAN (I do this for a living).
