Long time on the phone with Cobalt support....

The recent update for proftpd dated aug 28 will now not allow 
anyone to chmod via ftp.  And it is a security issue that Cobalt will 
not support or fix.  

So they have shot us in the foot and would charge to fix the 
problem however it will void the warranty...

Very Very much bs from cobalt.

If anyone can come up with a fix. I'd appreciate it.
