[cobalt-developers] Second Drive Backup

Hopefully I am trying something new and possible..

We are installing a second drive in my Raq3 and intend to use it
to be our back up.

Input will be appreciated.
In contacting Cobalt, the rep said the Raq3 will accept this and that
it is an interesting approach.

Now the questions:
1. Would it be possible to just give the second drive it's own IP
address and perform back up's via the back up users menu on the
box?

If anyone knows a way to accomplish this once the drive is
installed it would be mucho appreciated.. It sould be nice to setup
a cron job to take care of this every night, then in event of failure,
simply switch the drives and we are back on the air. Or to atleast
replace the home drive and copy all of the files, sites and such to
the home drive. We are looking for a solution vice the high cost of
scsi tape back up's and also the additional monthly payments of
a network backup.

Input welcome :)
