I don't deny that most don't use it, but the better question is why not?
Sure, it's a bit more complicated to manage, but you can never have enough
extra security.  The extra layer of protection is well worth it when you're
dealing with untrusted users.

It all comes down to your level of paranioa, I guess.  Here, it's paranioa is
company policy.
