Hello

I have had my RaQ4r co-located for over 3 years so it's been running 24/7

My query is at what stage should I expect HD's and Fans etc starting to fail
on me? I don't want stuff to start breaking on me as I can't afford to pay
the co-lo support to fix it for me etc...

What's your options on when I should expect components to start failing on
me?

I always found that the fans started to fail just after a year. Hard disks were never such a problem. After 3 years I would advise a visual inspection to check both fans are still ok. I found that a Cobalt will generally carry on running with 1 or even no fans providing the data centre was cool so we always went through all the raq's and checked them.
