[cobalt-users] did search but htaccess fix for raq550 not working on new install

Hello all.  I did a search on why htaccess isn't working and I found the 
messages about moving and uncommenting line:  LoadModule 
pam_external_auth_module modules/mod_auth_pam_external.so

to here:

ClearModuleList
AddModule mod_so.c
AddModule mod_perl.c
LoadModule pam_external_auth_module modules/mod_auth_pam_external.so
LoadModule userdir_module modules/mod_userdir.so
LoadModule alias_module modules/mod_alias.so

Afterwards I tried reload httpd and even rebooting the 550 but htaccess 
doesn't seem to work.

I was trying to install a photo gallery and the web based install script 
offered this advice to add to httpd.conf:
<Directory /home/.sites/70/site4/web/gallery>
       AllowOverride Options FileInfo
</Directory>

I tried that as well and didn't work either.

If anyone knows what else I should look at, please let me know.  Any help is 
appreciated.
