We have a Cobalt RaQ3i with a 15Gb HDD. I need to add additional
storage, so I have installed a 40Gb HDD (hdb), but the RaQ will only add
it through the webui as a 5Gb HDD. I know the OS sees the HDD in all
it's glory:
hda: ST315323A, 14652MB w/512kB Cache, CHS=29770/16/63, UDMA(33)
hdb: WDC WD400BB-32AUA1, 38166MB w/2048kB Cache, CHS=77545/16/63,
(U)DMA
Even running fdisk from the command line only allows me to see a limited
number of Cylinders (12009 instead of 77545):
[root@cobalt /root]# fdisk /dev/hdb
Command (m for help): p
Disk /dev/hdb: 16 heads, 63 sectors, 12009 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 1008 * 512 bytes
Any ideas on how to enable this HDD for full capacity additional storage?
Upgrade the ROM!
Gerald
