This is odd. My active monitor is flashing red. When I click on it "disk
usage" is red. Here's the odd bit. When I click on "disk usage" everything
is green. Usually in the past it's been a virtual site using up too much
space, but everything seems in order there.
I noticed for some reason I have used 79% of operating system space (total
920MB, free 193MB), and the other day the disk usage light was yellow with
no explanation at 78%.
Is there a file somewhere which needs to be deleted or "trimmed", or is
there another simple solution? I heard something about var folders getting
out of control, but don't know much about that.
Is there a trash folder anywhere? If so, how do I empty it? I deleted some
big old site backup tars using rm the other day, but the disk space did not
seem to increase.
