[cobalt-users] Backup Solution for small office? {Scanned}

I'm trying to research some information on an inexpensive backup/disaster
recovery solution. We need to backup about 5 Windows PCs, 3 Cobalt Servers,
and 1 RedHat 9. The backups will be transfered to a facility on the west
coast via the Internet and put on tape. Here is some of the prerequisites:

1. Backup server will be the RedHat linux 9
2. Need to use strong encryption on all of the backups being sent to the
west coast facility to protect company information from preying eyes at the
backup facility
3. The backups need to run every evening and then to be pretty large (about
25 Gigs). We need to have some way of verifying that the files received by
the west coast facility are intact before being backed up to tape. (There is
no piont to go through all of this backup business if the files get
corrupted during transfer and get backup ed to tape)
4. If there is a line connection failure then the backup needs to be able to
resume from where it left off instead of starting from the begining.
5. Backup solution needs to be able to access system files on the Windows
PCs (Win98se, WinXP) to create Disk Images in case of disaster recovery
(something similiar to Ghost which we use now)
6. All of this needs to be done on a nightly basis without a humanbeing
intervention

I know there are lots of solutions out there, I'm hoping some of the folks
here have some insight (good or bad) about there experiences and any
recommendations which a vendor might fail to mention until it's too late.

Thanks,

SW
