It is provided you make sure that you flash your Raq3 to the latest
Firmware revision and be aware of some of the gotchas:

1. Specifically, be -VERY VERY VERY- careful to SELECT THE RIGHT
ARCHITECTURE WHEN YOU ATTEMPT TO UPGRADE YOUR RAQ BIOS USING THE RAQ550 OS
RESTORE CD! I accidentally chose "Raq 550" without thinking and turned one
of my Raq 3 units into a doorstoop. Since the Raq3 has SOLDERD EPROMS, I
had to sent it to Gerald Waugh at Frontstreet Networks who charged me $120
to replace the EEPROM.

2. The Raq3 uses an AMD K6 processor, which has an i586 core. Cobalt
released all their kernel updates for the Raq550 as i686 only, so you need
to get the ones provided by Nuonce to correct for security issues.
