This is a very interesting reply as it really completely begs the issue
of the original question, and instead suggests the original poster
drops a useful program that he has experience with and instead try
something complete unknown to him because ...

Hmmmm.
I wonder what Justin Simoni, the artist who created Dada Mail (fomerly
known as Mojo Mail) would think of his creation being called "cute".

How is Dada Mail easier to install than majordomo, which is already
installed on your Cobalt system when you get it?
Tong, unless you know a lot more about Mike's needs than he posted to
the list, you probably don't have enough information to recommend he
change from a program he knows to one he doesn't.
For example, perhaps he needs to manage discussion lists.
At "http://mojo.skazat.com/support/documentation/dada_send.pl.html"
Justin points out that the extension to Dada Mail written to allow it
to do discussion lists "has seen little work put into it and has some
known issues".
That would seem to me to make it a perhaps less reliable choice than
Majordomo, which has been continually upgraded by a group of developers
for over ten years.
Dada Mail is an excellent program, and well suited for website owners to
install as part of their own site and use to manage announcement lists
to their website visitors. I've compared it to "Subscribe Me" (which I
resell) and find it a good solution for people who don't need all of
what "Subscribe Me" offers.
But to call it a replacement for majordomo is a bit naieve, at least in
my opinion.
