I have a person that can not ftp to a cobalt server using fetch on a MAC
connection gets dropped!
Any ideas?

FYI: We (18-Mac LAN, 4400,8600,G3B&W,G4) gave up with Fetch few years
ago. Had problems with RaQ3...
Currently using Interarchy 5.0.1 with RaQ3-4-550
(evolution of the former Anarchie who's best was ver. 3.7 - free,
still around for d/loads)
http://www.interarchy.com/main/index.html
No problem at all, simply drag-and-drop to/from any folder or desktop.
Mail me off list if more details needed.
For a dial-up connection Bo's suggestion in right:
for MacOS8-9 in TCP/IP control panel:
- check "Active" radio button
- leave unchecked "Load only needed" box
Best,
Adrian
