as like on windows boxes .. you can NOT just copy and paste the whole
data. As like in windows the
registry .. the Cobalt has all its configuration data in his PostgreSQL
Database. Also programs you
wish to copy will smash if some librarys are missing or beeing in a
other version .. the paths won't
exist, the configuration lacks .. etc.

First of all .. there is no easy way out
The installed programs are the most problem at all .. cause there are
tools to migrate virtual sites,
search the archives for that !
